Isthmus - Ancient Corinth - Nemea

Starting our trip we will have a stop at the canal of Corinth. There, we will have the opportunity to photograph the channel and enjoy an energizing coffee to continue our route. Next stop is the ancient Corinth, a city with important political and commercial power during the classical period of antiquity. The Temple of Apollo is the most spectacular archaeological find in the area. Moving in time, the city is known thanks to the visit of St. Paul in order to preach the Christian teaching. Today, St. Paul is the patron saint of Corinth where it has been built a resplendent temple in his honor.
Leaving the ancient Corinth, we will draw the road to the city of Nemea. The area of Nemea is the largest wine-growing region of Greece, which produces the famous wines of Nemea (PDO). The area is famous for its wine since ancient times, when it was called Fliasion field. There, we will have some time to stay so as to have a lunch and taste the delicious varieties of the local wine.
